Ray and Mina stood stairing at the sky. Serena walked up behind them."Whats up guys?" To caught up in what she was about to say she hadnt noticed that neither had answered. "Today at the mall......." she started but cut of noticing her friends glare at the sky. "Guys? Whats the matter?" she said looking up. Mina and Ray turned to face her. "Something is not right" they said at the same time. "Well," Serena started, "maybe you could do a flame reading or something Ray. For once you may have a good idea. "Thanks, but............ Hey whats Thats s'posta mean. grrrrrrrr." "Never mind that now we have bigger problems, call Amy and Lita." Mina cut in. Back the temple: Whats this all about? Lita started. Ray flashed her a confussed glare, "Did you not see the sky?" "Well yeah" started Lita, "but what does that have to do with anything?" "Well it was definetly strange looking." Amy said. Ray quieted them by waveing her hand still staring at the fire consentrating. they sat for a few seconds waiting. Then a flash back of the battel with Beral showed up in the fire, then faded. "Well, that did'nt help us much." Ray fround. Noticing Serena was unusaly quiet, they all tured to her. Her deep blue eyes suddenly had a silverish tint to them. "Berals Back." she said almost in a wisper. A quick gasp came from all the girls. "But thats impossable." Said Amy. Quickly the tint left Serenas eyes and she tured to them, "Is it?" "If you remember the 4 sisters killed all of you but, you came back. Lita turned away. Mina reached out and put a hand on her back, "Serena beat her Once, she will again. Serena shook her head "No we beat her once," smiles spread to there faces, "besides," she contiued," that was a long time ago and now we're stronger." "Yeah." said Lita "but not long enough, and not strong enough to be sure that she has'nt gotten stronger to." Chapter 2: Tensens rise "Mmmmm, Lita I just love your cooking!" Serena said taking another spoon full of soup. Ray just stared at her bowl. "What's the matter Ray? More bad vibes?" Mina asked between gulps. "You should really eat," she continued "We need to keep our strenth up. We could have to leave at any time." Ray sighed "It's just to hard to swollow." "It's soup!" Serena said confussed " No," Ray said shoting Serena the usual look. " The fact that Berals." Amy looked up from her book, "Do you think we should tell Darien? You know, in case we need help?" Serena shook her head "No! I dont want him caught up in this. I almost lost him once I wont do it again!" With tears in her eyes she remembered what had happened, and turn away. Lita knew what it was like to lose someone. Her parents had died in a plane crash when she was younger. " I know it was hard almost losing all of us but we're gona need all the help we can get." Serena nodded. She knew that Darien wouldn't let the go alone anyway. "Have you two told luna and artimis about this yet?" Ray asked They both nodded "Luna thinks we should do some training together. Not like it would matter if we dont have that much time till we leave but........" she shrugged Mina giggled " Artimis looked like he was gona rip my bed apart." with that they all giggled. chapter 3: Training "Hey guys, you remember that part of the park surrounded by trees?" Lita asked taking another lick of her ice-cream. They all nodded. "We could train there, there's never anyone back there." Luna smiled at Serena realising she had metioned her idea. " Why dont we meet back there at 3:00? You can tranform when you get there. Later on: "I'll train later," Sailor Mars said sitting under the shade of a tree, " got to find out what these vibe are." "Must be some vibes if your passing up the chance to blast me Ray." Sailor Moon said trying not to laugh. Sailor Mars let a sigh and closed her eyes" So," Sailor Venus started "2 on 2 or 1 on 1?" " How about me and Sailor Moon on Sailor Jupiter and yourself?" Sailor Mercury suggested. "Works for me." Sailor Jupiter said and with that Sailor Venus yelled "love chain encircle!" Sailor Mercury quickly jumped out of the way. Sailor Jupiter shouted "Jupiter thunder crash!" Nearly missing Sailor Moon as she jumped into the air to kick her. Sailor Jupiter grabed her foot and twisted it so Sailor Moon landed on her stomach. As she landed she swept Jupiters legs ot from under her as Sailor Venus dodged Mercury's ice bubbles. Just then Sailor Mars stood up. "Guys, i think beral's after energy again." "Again!" the others grunt under there breath "Yes, again so keep an eye out for yomas alright?" they all nodded "Serena have you told Darien about beral yet?" Sailor Mecrury asked. Sailor Moon turned away so she couldn't see her eyes "yea." she managed. "Well what did he say?" Sailor Jupiter asked quickly. "Not much, not to happy that we didn't tell him sooner but, hes sure we'll get her good this time." Just then tuxedo mask showed up "whats the matter Darien, your ears ring?" Sailor Moon said as the others tryed to fight back giggles. he looked around confussed. "Did I miss something." Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus excanged glances and smiled. "Our training must have set of your." Sailor Mars couldn't fight it any more, she nearly fell over laughing. tuxedo rolled his eyes and sat down on the ground next to Sailor Mars and powered down into Darien. "That would explain alot." The rest of the girls powered down as well and came to sit next to them. "Maybe we should ask Pluto what she thinks of the whole Beral situation." he suggeseted. "That might be a good idea." Amy added and the rest nodded. chapter 4 Pluto's plan "Well it's Beral for sure." Sailor Pluto started early Friday morning. The scouts and Darien sat around a small coffee table in Darien's apartment. "The powers to great to be anyone else." Lita shot a worried glance to Serena. Serena gave a reasuring nod and Pluto continued. "Have you thought of where she might try to collect energy?" she asked thinking back to the reason Beral had come in the first place. They all thought for a second. "The fair!" Amy blurted out. Lita looked a little confussed. "What fair." "The biggest fair of the summer is on Monday!" Amy continued "That's in like.....4 days." Serena said on shock. A wave of annoyment passed through Ray "What do you know the meatball head can count." Ray said under her breath still loud enough so everyone could hear. "You know what Ray, you should try being nice for a change and maybe you wont scare off so many boys!" Serena shoted sticking out her tounge. "Here we go again." Darien said sighing. As the fighting contiued Sailor Pluto turned to Darien. "I'm not around the inners much but I have a feeling they do this alot." Darien nodded. "All right thats enough! we already have to deal with Beral and we dont need world war 3 with you two." he said a little aggravied with the whole sitution. "Guys I dont mean to interupt," Mina started quitly. "But, we're off topic. Again." she added coldly, as Lita fought to not laugh. She was losing. "Anyway," Pluto said to get them back on track, "I think you all should go. Not in scout form, you dont want to alarm people, or draw attion if you dont need to." After all the girls and Darien agreed to meet there, Pluto returned to her post. chapter 5 To the fair! The girls checked their bags and headed to meet Ray at the temple. It was an easy 10 min walk from there to the fair. Darien had offered to give them a ride but you could bearly walk down the street let alone drive. At the fair: "Wow," Serena said exitedly. As usual she was attached to Darien's arm "Look at all the rides." "Just remember what we're here for meatball head." he said " Ah I no but can we at least go on one?" she asked with the saddest puppy dog eyes she could make." "Alright, Alright we'll go on the fariswheel later if you stop with the face." her puppy dog eyes turned into a smile and they kept walking. "My purse!" Mina shoted. Lita took off after the man with Mina's yellow bag in his hand. "Don't worry Mina if anyone can catch him, it's Lita." Ray said Mina turned with tears in her eyes to face them. "Mina if she can't get him we'll buy you a new bag. I seen 1 just like it at...." "No!" Mina cut her off. "That's not it. My bag had my transforming pen in it!" enraged Darien took off runing after Lita and the others followed. When they caught up to them the man had a black eye and Lita's hand on the back of his neck. "Give it to her!" Lita demanded. Mina opened her purse and saw nothing missing and walked in the direction she came. Darien was still fighting to break the grips of the remaining three girls. Soon he realized he could not and turned to follow Mina. Serena, Ray, and Amy did the same. Lita relased the man and followed the others. "What took ya so long?" Lita asked as they aproched a picnic table. Darien and Amy filled her in as she watched Mina pull her pen from the front pocket of her bag. "Do you think he was working for Beral? Do you think she found out who we are." Serena asked worried. "No just a pick-pocket. Besides Beral wants us dead remember? Amy said pulling a book from blue bag that sat on her lap. Just the the heard screams. Lita was the first to turn "Yomas!" She yelled as they quickly ran behind and empty stand to transform. evil with clifhanges:p chapter 6 Round one! The yomas had all ready began sucking the life energy out of people. "Moon tira magic!" Sailor Moon yelled relasing her tira at an ice yoma. "Get them!" an all-to-well-known voice screamed. The girls went on alert. "Where is she." Sailor Moon mouthed to Mercury. Sailor Mercury taped her earing. Her glasses matieralized and she started scaning the area, but just shook her head. Jupiter narrowed her eyes, " Jupiter thunder crash!" she wiped out 3 of the 15 yomas that stood in front of them. A red rose cut through a earth yoma. "How nice of you to join us Tuxedo Mask." Sailor Venus said after useing her cresent beam. "Thought you might need a hand." he said landing next to Sailor Mars. Just then a thorn yoma hit Sailor Moon in the shoulder. Tuxedo Mask jumped in front of her as she struggled to stand up. she finlly got to her feet and move beside him and readied herself to attack again as Mars and Mercury let out attacks. The remaining 6 yomas disapeared. "Gone again!" Jupiter said powering down. the others did the same. "Serena, your shoulder. We should wrap it. " Mina said remembering how shed been hit. "It's fine Mina." Serena said covering it with her hand. Darien moved her hand "It dosen't look fine." he said as she pulled away. "No really you guys it's fine. I've had worse." Amy and Mina gave her pleading looks. Serena rolled her eyes, " Fine Dr. Amy and nurse Mina if it will make you feel better......" Mina smile as they walked back to the picnic table. Amy took a small 1st aid kit out of her purse. chapter 7 Desination? After the fair they agreed to meet for lunch the next day at the fast food at the mall. Beep beep beep. Serena's comicater went off. She rolled over in bed and fished it out of her night stand. "Hey Amy what's up? (yawn) Please, please please tell me no more yomas." she pleaded looking over to her luna clock. ( Lets see ive been sleeping since 10 and it 1!) "No, Thats not it Serena. We're all worried about you. If...." Serena cut her off. "What my shoulder? its fine." "No, If something happens, god forbid we lose you, Think of Rini. it will change everything we would never of known her and the crystal.........." Amy contiue but Serena tuned her out. Her eyes had a silver tint to them. "I've got to go Amy." Serena said with out even looking at the screen. she stared dead ahead. She tryed to sleep but she could only think of her future daughter. She got up and got dressed into the outfit laying on the floor from the day before. Serena jumped out her window like she had so many times before. As if reading her mind Darien was at the bottom of her window. "Guess i wasn't the only one who couldn't sleep. Serena..." "Amy already told me." she said walking right passed him. he reached out and graped her arm remembering her shoulder still hurt her. she turned with tears streaming down her face. "Darien, What if i mess up everyone is counting on me, and...." he held his finger up. "Serena you'll beat her. you have no idea how much stronger you and the other scouts have gotten. The world is not just depending on you. I'm here to help and so are the scouts." a small smile came over her face. he gave her a hug. "Now you should get some rest. if im not mistaken we have a meeting tomarrow and you know how much Ray hates it when you sleep throught them." Serena nodded and made her way up the tree out side her window. 12:30am. Fast food: "There's one thing we haven't thought of yet." Mina started "Where's Beral's base going to be?" "Hey as long as it's not at the north pole who cares." Ray said The 6 broke out in laughter. " Who's ever idea it was to have the scout uniform include a mini skirt is the real enemy." Serena said as the laughter countiued. "Hey i heard Florida's nice, or Hawii." Lita said "The climate or the guys?" Mina joked. Lita passed for a moment. "Both!" They broke into laughter again. Darien not liking the subject change turned to Amy. "Amy, if the energy is strong can you do a scan and find out where the base is?" The laughter died down and Amy pulled her small blue laptopout of her bag. "I can try." she said typing at a very quick speed. She looked up and smiled. more clifhangers. (smiles evily and dodges flying objects.) Chapter 8 Old memories. "How does Africa sound?" Amy said shuting down her laptop. The girls broke into laughter. "No really Amy where are we going." Amy blinked confussed at Mina. "Ah." The girls gronded in unisen. "Well, when do we leave?" Darien asked sitting between Lita and Serena, who shoved him backwards. Mina, Ray, and Amy giggled. "We should leave tomarrow." Amy said getting back to his question. Serena's face got pale. She turned to Darien, she looked sick. "You'll do fine." He wipered to her, before she could speak. "Maybe we should take you home." Mina suggested noticing Serena's pale face. She nodded slowly. Mina and Darien helped Serena to his car. Amy followed close behind. Ray and Lita still had to get a few things for school since there was only about 2 weeks left before it started. They all agreed to stop by to check on Serena at 6:00. Darien pulled up to Serena's house about 5 min. later. They helped her out of the car and into her room. "we'll be back to later to check on you." Amy said as the girls waved goodby. 6:00pm: "Hi Mrs. Tuskino, we came to see how Serena was feeling." called a fimilar voice from down stairs. "Oh hello girls. Serena's feeling much better you can go up and see her if you want. shes in her room." Serena's mom told them. The girls nodded and headed up twords the stairs. Just then a Darien came runing up the driveway. "Sorry i'm late i was studying and lost track of time." "Hello Darien the girls were just going up to see Serena." he nodded and followed them up the stairs. Whe they walked into Serena's roon she was sitting cross-legged on her bed. Luna was in her lap and they were looking at a photo album. "Hey guy." Serena said not lifting her eyes from the album. "Hey Serena how ya feeling." Ray asked as the group came to sit on Serena's bed with her. "much better." she said this time takeing her eyes of the book. "What'cha looking at?" Lita asked. Serena smiled and turned the album to face them. there were pictures all over the page. Mina pointed to a picture of all of them and Rini at the beach. "I remember that we took Rini to the Beach and had a vollyball game." Smiles spread as the memories of that day came back to mind. "Oh yeah that's where i met kyle." Lita said with a dazed look in her eye. The girls sweat droped and Darien tryed not to laugh. chapter 9 coming soon.
