Serena walked back into the cabin covered with snow and chattering but she had the silver crystal in her hands. Darien quickly got up and took the towel from Setsuna who had just gone and snatched it up. He wrapped the towel around Serena who was shaking like crazy.
"I found it. I found it" she stammered.
"Yes Darlin you did" he whispered and kissed her on the forehead. He then picked her up (again :)) And sat her down with him once again on the love seat. She looked around plainly and laid her down on Darien's shoulder and sighed.
"I wish Luna were here." Serena said. "She always knows everything. Maybe she could explain this." She snuggled up closer to Darien and put her feet up on the loveseat.
"I think I saw some cocoa mix in the cabinets" stated Lita. "I'll go make some"
" Ok!" shouted the other girls as they all rushed to get their own special cocoa cups out of their bags well except for the outers who went to find some in the cabinets.
Darien turned to Serena.
"Do you mind if I ask why you came if you were feeling so bad? And why didn't you tell anyone?" he asked.
"Because, I didn't think much of it and I wanted to spend time with you and believe it or not Rini too. I had this strong feeling, stronger than usual, that I had to be next to you. Wrapped up in your arms and snuggled close. I don't know why it's like I had this feeling that I needed to protect you from that shadow and wh..." Darien put his finger over her lips and leaned over closer to her.
"Let's not think of that anymore. Alright?"
"Alright" Darien then gently kissed her on the lips and she wrapped her arms around him and for an instant she forgot all about that dream and that shadow. For an instant she was in heaven. Then she was interrupted by the girls and all of their
"awwwwwwwww"'s. She backed up and looked at them then she just smiled.
