Open Thine Eyes- Chapter 3

Last chapter the scouts arrived at the Ki Ski resort. We met this shadow person and he took over the body of the skating instructor at the resort.   Serena quietly, slowly walked over to the ice skating rink wishing Darien could have gone with her. In her state she would love to have his warm arms wrapped about her in embrace. Even if it was just to hold her up.
  "Well, maybe skating like I did in the Silver Millenium will help." she thought. She quickly rented some skates(she had forgotten to bring her own), put them on and tied them tightly around her ankles. She looked at the schedule on the rink's wall and discovered that it was free session for an hour although there would be an instructor on patrol. It was now 8:30 pm. (Don't ask me where the time went:)) Serena stepped out onto the rink and began to skate. Amazingly she didn't fall but made it all the way around. She was in a daze. The only thing she could picture was that shadow and what it had said.

Smack! Serena had run straight into the wall and fallen on her butt on the icy cold ice. She was trying to recover from her flashbacks and encounter with the wall when a pair of strong arms picked her up.
  "Darien?" she thought. No, It wasn't. It was the skating instructor. She looked up and thought she would scream. Those eyes, so cold, those eyes!
  "Miss, Miss, are you alright?" he asked.
  "Uh, Uh, yes." She replied trying as hard as she could to get away from his grasp.
  "This is her." the instructor/shadow thought. "I cannot take it from her here. I'll have to whisk her off somewhere."
  " Care to skate with me?" he asked politely.
  "Um, actually..."
  "Nonsense, come now, let us go!" He slung her out onto the ice and began ice dancing with her. "I've got to get her somewhere where I can take it without anyone getting in the way."  Serena was beginning to feel very weak she couldn't stand this anymore she had to get away she just had to get away somehow....... Darien! She saw Darien and Rini walking in. They had skates on!
  "Darien!!" she screamed. "Let me go!" she yelled at the instructor."You evil evil being!"
  "She knows" he thought "Who's this Darien?" he looked around and spotted him.
"P-Prince" he yelled and dropped Serena then disappeared but not without taking a little of her energy.
  "Serena!" yelled Darien as soon as he saw her fall onto the ice. He and Rini rushed to her side. He slid down to his knees and straight to her. "Serena are you alright, you're shaking, C'mon let's get you out of here." he picked her up and took her off the ice with Rini right behind.
  Once outside he took off his skates, Rini's and his and returned them to the stand.
  "Now Serena." he sat her down on a bench " Tell me what happened " she looked blankly at him then began to explain.

  The outer scouts finally caught up to the inners and began skiing right past them.
  "Well, well, well, look who's here!" stated Haruka.
   "Hi!" the inners said
  "What are you doing here?" asked Mina
  "Looks like we're skiing" answered Michiru.
They giggled.
  "You know outer scouts can have fun too" laughed Setsuna.
  "Where's moonface?" asked Haruka.
  "Oh she isn't to well." replied Raye."She went to the ice rink instead. Darien and Rini just went after her."
  "We what do you say we go and join them. It's 9pm already" Stated Haruka.
  "ok" they all replied.
