Minutes September 10, 2007 (continued)

Pizza Party
Thank you to Freda Burton for all of her work on arranging the pizza party.  Also thank you to all of the volunteers who helped deliver pizza and drinks and those who served.  Everyone enjoyed the fellowship and relaxation.

Chip Brittingham
Mr. Brittingham, of Lewes Dairy, advised that he will donate to our functions as long as he is able.  He likes to see us helping the kids.

Award Plaques
Award plaques were displayed in the past, however, are in need of updating.  The plaques are purchased and come with the placard for engraving; however, they are quite expensive.  Barry Eli will look into the price of the plaques, however, also suggested the possibility of locating someone who could make the plaques at a lower price.

Music Booster dues are $2.00 per year.  Marilyn Davis will be available at the end of the meeting to collect dues for this year.  Membership will be offered at each monthly meeting.

Barry Eli and Darrell Dukes are in the process of updating the web site.  For immediate information, Mr. Eli will update the high school website with any schedule changes or cancellations.  To locate on the high school website, go to classrooms then music.  Gail and Barry will have choir and band separated, however, both will have links to the music booster site.

Uniforms should be cleaned 2 times per year; normally after the football season and before turning in for the year.  A major replenishment will need to occur next year if our band continues to grow.
