Fruit and Flowers Update - Christina Palmer r eported over $9,000 in sales for fruit and over $6,000 for flowers. Over 60 students participated. Total sales were down from last year, but could be in part due to the state of our economy. Flowers will be delivered the week after Thanksgiving and the flowers will be the following week. Thank you to all who helped and continue to help with this successful fundraiser. Senior Night- Thank you to Julie Wilson for arranging the flowers and to Mr. Cook for the pictures. Thank you also to Mr. Barbarita and to Mr. Bales for announcing. Coast Day Parking - We have not yet received the payment from Coast Day, however it is on its way. Payments are only made twice per month. Spaghetti Dinner - The spaghetti dinner is scheduled for Sunday, December 14th. Ticket sales will begin early next week. There will be 2 tickets per student to start and a time will be noted on each. We are trying to obtain use of the=2 0Nassau Fire Hall and will not need a time if we are able, otherwise the times will be crucial to available space at Pelican Grill. Mr. VanHeest has donated the use of her familys restaurant (The Pelican Grill) and will make sure all of the supplies are available. Ticket prices are $7.00 each and will include salad, spaghetti with meatballs and bread. Dine-In or take-out is available. Of the $7.00, $5.00 will go to the boosters general fund and $2.00 for the cost of supplies. Students who participate will receive service hours. Marilyn Davis suggested that the band or choir perform during this dinner. Nicole Nadig and Brittany Morris will discuss with Mrs. Kelso and if there are no objections, the choir will perform at the dinner. Service Star Hours - Marilyn Davis has been working with Heidi Dukes to make sure all students who have earned service star hours are acknowledged.
