The Stallion:
Marutas CH is a prime example of how C&H selectively breeds it's best stock. Representing six generations of C&H breeding, bred and born to become a racehorse and eventually a sporthorse, Marutas CH is a wonderful specimen of what a superior racehorse should be like. He has a good hip, wide chest, sloped and powerful shoulders, solid structure, great bone size, sound conformation, a competitive attitude, and fire in his heart. He is of exotic type, although not as fine and exotic as his Egyptian sire. He is masculine and powerful, emitting an immediate aura of strength and confidence. He does not accept anything but being first. C&H has high hopes that this young, talented stallion will prove to be as incredible on the track as he is in the training oval. His outstanding conformation suggests he will become a gifted sporthorse as well. The sky is literally the limit for Marutas; he is full of pent-up talent just waiting to be unleased.

Marutas CH was named after the Hindu gods of storms and rain. Rain is precious in India, and Marutas is precious to C&H. True to form, Marutas can cause an uproarous storm on the track with his blinding speed and incredibly competitive attitude. He makes a point of starting first and staying there, regardless of what his jockey desires or how tired he becomes. His is a fiery and excitable stallion, though not hard to handle. He likes things done his way, on his time. He always seems to be able to squeeze out that last ounce of iron will to achieve what he desires, whether it be around the barn or on the track. His workouts have been outstanding, and he is shaping up to be one of the most talented Arabian racehorses in HF indeed. Our first Arabian racehorse since the retirement of his dam in 2003, we believe that Marutas will be the one to raise C&H to new heights within the AHA racehorse industry.

The Lineage:
Marutas CH is the product of many generations of selective breeding for a superior horse. He is one of our best foals to date. His sire, Child Of The Night, is a multichampion in his disciplines, and has a pedigree full of some of the most royal Egyptian blood. Since his reemergence to HF and show debut in 2003, Child Of The Night has amassed the major titles of 2003 AHA Sporthorse Nationals Intermediate II Dressage CHAMPION, 2003 Nation's Cup Eight Year Old Stallions RESERVE CHAMPION, 2003 Salon Du Cheval Eight Year Old Stallions RESERVE CHAMPION, 2004 Scottsdale Nine Year Old Stallions RESERVE CHAMPION, 2004 AHA Nationals Nine Year Old Stallion CHAMPION, 2004 Nations Cup Nine Year Old Stallion CHAMPION, 2005 Scottsdale Intermediare II Dressage CHAMPION, 2005 AHA Sporthorse Nationals Intermediate II Dressage RESERVE CHAMPION, 2006 Scottsdale Intermediate II Dressage RESERVE CHAMPION, and many more; too many to list, in fact. Night was a very successful champion racehorse in his previous games, but unfortunately his racing history was lost except for two races. He is 2:1:1:0. His foals have been outstanding and are gaining titles as fast as he has. He is currently one of the most popular and sought-after sporthorse sires for Arabians and Half-Arabians in HF.

Marutas CH's dam, Perfectly Anonymous CH, is quite the champion herself. Bred from some of C&H's best, and HF's for that matter, she was a great racehorse with a modest race record. She is 8:2:1:2. Being in the money in five out of eight races isn't too bad! Upon her retirement in 2003, she went on to become a successful English and Sporthorse mare. She has amassed the titles of 2003 AHA Nationals Four Year Old Mares CHAMPION, 2003 Nation's Cup Four Year Old Mares Top Five, 2003 Salon Du Cheval Four Year Old Mares CHAMPION, 2004 Scottsdale Country Pleasure Driving Jr.Horse RESERVE CHAMPION, 2005 AHA Nationals Country English Pleasure Jr. Horse RESERVE CHAMPION, 2005 AHA Awards Arabian Country Pleasure Driving Horse CHAMPION, and many more. Perfectly Anonymous' success doesn't really come as a surprise, however. She has some of the best blood of HF in her lines, including the two crosses to the highest pointed horses in HF, HOF Princess Kostalot and HOF Prince Of Perfection. She also boasts other HF greats such as HOF Perfect Image, Anonymous, HOF Wonder Of Ofir, HOF Colony Princess, Desert Mirage, Mister Anonymous, Perfection Ofir CH, and Image Of Ofir.
