The Mare:
One could not ask for a better attitude in a horse, er...mule. Light My Fire CH is an anomaly in so many ways, and we are so lucky to have her at C&H Ranch. She is very helpful as a ranch horse, and with her lineage, it's not wonder. Her dam, and dam's sire and dam are both used to work C&H. Fire's sire isn't, but he is more compact, well-built, and less upright than your typical show ring Saddlebred. Light My Fire has an incredible and unique gait, one we guarantee you will never see anywhere else. It is a cross between a Tennessee Walker, and a Saddlebred, with the surefootedness and thinking capabilities of a mule. She is very smooth to ride, as well as flashy, and one could sit in her saddle for hours and not feel fatigued.

Light My Fire CH came about through a series of exremely hard science tests and experiements. Her dam, a mule, was brought in to experiment on about mule (hybrid) infertility by extracting eggs to find one that might possibly be fertile. It took quite awhile, and we were about ready to give up when finally one did take. Tobasko was used as the sire because we wanted to see what would come of mixing a Saddlebred's gaits with a Tennessee Walker's. The result was remarkable. No experiment has been done before or since in HF, and probably never will again. Fire is a true piece of HF history, and we are proud to have her call C&H her home.

The Mare:
Lumiar WMA is one of the beautiful horses to be given to me by Alex upon her leave. Lumiar WMA is a classic Straight Egyptian mare. She was shown at the 2002 Scottsdale show, first time ever shown, while pregnant and walked away with a Reserve Championship and Top Ten in two extremely competitive class. She is an excellent mother, and has already produced a Legion Of Honour winner, Sienna WMA+, who earned all her points towards her Legion at 1 show - The 2002 Scottsdale Show. Her next foal, by CACF Under Fyre is going to be a future National Champion. Lumiar WMA is one of our most beautiful broodmares. She is extremly typey, and is very correct. She is also a great mover,a trait which can be found in all of her foals. Her first foal, Sienna WMA, is one of our most exciting show prospects. She is sired by the beautiful El Perfecto, a Straight Spanish Stallion. Sienna WMA has gorgeous motion, and is extremly typey and correct. She will be shown in Halter & Sporthorse disciplines. Lumiar WMA crosses paticularly well with Spanish and Egyptian stallions, so we will be using her primairly with those stallions.

Lumiar WMA's pedigree is full of Egyptian Champions. Her sire, *Orashan, was 1991 National Top Ten Stallion, as well as being a Canadian National Top Ten Halter stallion & Country English Pleasure horse. *Orashan was also an Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion, Egyptian Event Champion Show Hack, Country English Pleasure, Pleasure Driving & Liberty. *Orashan is sired by the famous Messaoud, a fantastic sire and beautiful stallion. Lumiar WMA's dam is the dam to the 1996 Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion, BB Thee Renegade. BB Thee Renegade is a gorgeous stallion, who is turning out to be a great sire as well. P.H. Safina has lines to horses like *Lancer's Sahm and Sabeel.

Sarita is a beautiful filly who is beginning to show her spanish heritage. I am so glad that we adopted her and her mother from the QCF Mustang Preserve, and gave them a healthy life off of the range. Sarita will be larger than her mother because she is receiving abundant and proper nutrients, something her dam was not able to have as a foal. She is a sweet, curious horse who has settled into the daily routine of C&H, and quite well. She shows an affinity and affection for humans already. Sarita is also beginning to be one of those horses that craves to be the center of attention and shows off to get it. She has created a certainly affinty with Perfectly Anonymous CH, and their friendship is growing rapidly. We plan to train Sarita for dressage, western trail riding, and english, but we will see what she has the most aptitude for when we reach that point.

The Mare:
Stormy is a beautiful young mare who gives her all in everything and loves to be around and please people. She is directly related to the racing legend Man O' War, and looks exactly like the legend himself. Stormy Weather has come back to C&H Ranch for the fourth time after being adopted from Samantha, and we have decided the last time. She will be a permanent resident. Stormy has been successful on the track and in the show ring, but she has proven consistantly that her biggest successes are the foals she produces. With impeccable bloodlines, she passes on her forebearer's qualities to her foals, arming them with amazing speed, strength, and intelligence.

Valiente is a beautiful mare that we adopted from the QFC Mustang Preserve, and I don't regret it. She is a curious mare, and her expressive, gentle eyes are one of her most notable features. We are currently working with her and gaining her trust, but she in intelligent and it doesn't take too much effort on our part. Her filly, Sarita, has already become quite accustomed to C&H.
