Welcome to the Paris page of Rudy and Debra Mayer.

We are still working on this page as of May 2002....

For our 20th Anniversary in 2001, we took a ten day trip to Paris. Our main interest was art and architecture. But that doesn't mean we ignored the wonderful food, the great shops, the neat cafes, streets or anything else we passed.

We did a lot of research on the internet primarily using travel forums and search engines to determine where to stay and how to maneuver. One of the aboslutely most helpful sites for any international travel is a Yahoo Egroups called Travelzine. I can't say enough about the quality and quantity of information provided by people who have been to these places as fellow travelers.

We chose the Left Bank, 6th and 7th district, as our base and found a wonderful boutique hotel Bersoly's St-Germain. Very comfortable and convenient. Our room was the Degas on the top floor.
