Tuna Tapenade

4 pitted ripe olives 
4 anchovy fillets, drained and chopped 
1 small can [ 3 1 / 2 ounces ] tuna, packed in oil, drained
2 tablespoons capers
2 garlic cloves, chopped 
3 tablespoons mayonnaise 
1 tablespoon chili sauce 
1 / 8 teaspoon pepper 
Hard cooked eggs, halved,
party rye or crackers


In blender container, combine all ingredients except eggs, rye and crackers.
Cover and blend for several minutes until smooth.
Stop blender occasionally and scrape down sides of container.
Pour into a bowl and chill.
Serve with hard cooked eggs, party rye or crackers.


Makes 3 / 4 cups.
