Tea Cakes - Plain Cookies
1 1 / 2 cup flour 1 1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 / 4 cup butter 3 tablespoon milk 1 / 4 teaspoon salt 1 egg 1 / 2 cup sugar 1 / 2 teaspoon flavoring
Cream butter, add sugar and well beaten egg. Add sat and flavoring. Sift flour and baking powder together and add them to the mixture a little at a time. Alternating with the milk until all are in. Roll 1 / 8 inch thick. Cut cakes and bake in moderate oven [ 350 F ] |
