Mille Feuille pastry is used. This pastry can be bought in packets from various bakeries.
1 slice of mille feuille  pastry  [ you have to allow one slice per 4 persons 
1 kg of fresh milk[ bought from a milk merchant, packaged milk will have a different taste ]
crushed nuts
1 pinch cinnamon
Sugar to taste

Method :
Boil milk in a heavy saucepan and leave to cool until the top of the milk is well formed
     [ this should be done at least 6 or 7 hours before proceeding with the next step]
Break pastry into small pieces between your fingers. Place in a shallow oven dish.
Sprinkle crushed nuts, cinnamon and sugar over pastry.
Remove top of the milk and reserve. Warm milk slightly. Pour over pastry.
Cover with as much top of the milk as you have and bake in medium oven for 1 / 4 hour
      or until golden brown.
You can also bake Om Ali in individual dishes and serve directly
