Ice Cream Layer Cake

1 liter strawberry ice cream 
1 liter vanilla ice cream 
500 gm strawberries 
1 / 2 liter liquid cream 
8 tablespoons strawberry jam

Slightly soften ice cream and press into 4 cake tins to make 2 strawberry layers and 2 vanilla layers

Cover each tin with foil paper and freeze until firm.
Unmould ice cream and arrange in alternate layers, spread with strawberry jam
       on a foil covered cake board.
Chop strawberries  and fold into cream whipped with a little sugar to taste.
Cover cake with cream mixture and freeze, uncovered, for hours.
Wrap in foil for storage or serve immediately
