Hometown Tuna Salad
A basic tuna salad recipe, surprising in its versatility. Try it as a sandwich filling or as an hors d'oeuvres
2 cans [ 6 1 / 2 or 7 oz. Each ] tuna, drained and flaked 1 / 2 cup chopped celery 1 / 4 cup chopped green onions 3 tablespoons chopped sweet pickles 1 / 4 cup sour cream 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon sweet pickle juice 1 teaspoon lemon juice 3 / 4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 / 4 teaspoon salt
In medium bowl, combine tuna, celery, green onions and pickles. Toss together. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until well combined. Makes 2 1 / 2 cups |
