New Arrival:Herpa Lufthansa Lockheed L-1049G
photo

Herpa Lufthansa Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation and Herpa Airport Accessories-vehicles had arrived from Aviation Center Berlin.  This is my first history plane model for my collections. I won't be adding any history planes anymore. This Lockheed L-1049 will not appear in my model airport but will remain as my airplane model collection as a sign of time. A little introduction about this model. The German Lufthansa, which re-arose in 1954, ordered four aircrafts of the model L-1049G from Lockheed and put them into service in 1955. They had hardly taken off, when the post-war airline ordered four more aircrafts, amongst them the model with the name of D-ALOF. It became part of the Lufthansa fleet in 1956 and was painted with the so-called "Parabola-Design" of the Airline - up until now for many people the most attractive painting Lufthansa has ever carried. The aircraft remained with the fleet for eleven years and last served within the scope of the "Airbus-Service" in the short distance traffic. At the end of 1967 it was sold to the United States. With Lufthansa L-1049 and Airport accessories in my collections, I am only waiting for the arrival of Herpa Austrian Airlines A340-300 "Wiener Philharmoniker", Herpa Multi-Story Car Park, Herpa Advent Calendar 2006, Herpa EVA Air Boeing 777-300ER and Continental Airlines Coin Bank.
