Computer:
I'm going to get the necessary components to "burn" my own EPROMS.
I had a FastChip (Ed Wright Automotive) custom chip, but I've made some modifiations since then. Instead of sending it back every time I make a change, I want the ability to make changes to the programming myself. There is a detailed discussion on Full Size Chevy.com Boards about this subject. I'm looking forward to getting the material as outlined in the second post of this topic.
Engine:
Upgrade the fuel system - To me TBI isn't the best injection for a power motor. If I get adventerous I may try switching to MPFI. I may either purchase a system from Accel [and switch to DFI] or I may purchase TPI components from a Corvette to swap in. We'll see!!
Intercooler/Aftercooler - I'd like to fabricate an air charge cooler for the supercharger. I may also integrate a water injection system as well.
Exterior:
Hood - I think it would really set my truck apart. Either a steel cowl induction hood OR an APC carbon fiber hood
Rims/tires - I really would like something that stands out a little more. Probably 20" rims with Nitto or Toyo tires.
Paint job - With the original paint flaking in some areas I may have to get it painted
Rollpan - I'd like to replace the rear bumper with a nice rollpan.
Interior
Stereo - I'd like a new Alpine head unit. Then I'll be fabbing in my Boston Acoustics 6.5Pro's and at least 2 of my amps.
Dip - I want to have some of the interior panels sent off and transformed. It'll help break up the grey vinyl look...
Noise - Strip out the interior and cover it with sound damping material
Gauges - A new gauge face is needed desperately!
Other Mechanical
Brakes - I'd lke a new Baer system all around. Convert the drums in back to discs, and give the fronts some more stopping power.
