Rich has always wanted to try to make a cupola for the garage. For those of you that don't know what that is, this will show you. He worked very hard on it and I think it turned out GREAT! He has had many compliments on it. It only took him about a week and a half to do. It was made out of scrap wood from our basement. Total cost, about $30. I hope you enjoy looking at it. Here is a picture of it with the light on. Rich took an old light fixture that we had in the basement and installed it. Looks pretty cool. |

Here is a picture with the first coat of paint on it. The trim work is not done yet. and the top does not have the final cap on it yet. I got the weather vane from a shop on the web called Rusty Tin for $13.99. |
