Hello, welcome to my web page. My name is Karen. I am 46 years old and have been married for 18 years to a wonderful man named Rich. We have two children, Dawn, who is 24 years old and made me a grandmother in February 2002, and Jordan, who is 13 years old and in the eighth grade. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 13 years, along with some other related illnesses. Please feel free to check out the links to the left to learn more about them. I try not to let my illness stop me from doing the things that I love. Right now those things are: Cooking, gardening, classic cars, weather watching, fishing, camping, Freecycle(TM), and Yahoo Groups. I took a web design class and recently took a Microsoft Office Specialist class. I took the exam from Microsoft, and am now a certified expert in Word. I also deliver Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors and volunteer at my son's school. Please feel free to come back again for another visit. I will update as often as I can. Thank you for visiting.

ME

My husband Rich loves to fish, he also likes classic cars, camping, making things, and playing with his power tools. He doesn't want his picture online, so all you will see is a little red X. He has had the same job for the last 19 years making silk screens. Of course he hates it, but then not many people I know like their jobs. He is a wonderful father and husband. He has taken care of my daughter basically her whole life without any support from her biological father. He never even hesitated. He loves to spend time with our son on the weekends that he doesn't have to work. They enjoy watching movies, going bowling, working on things together, going to classic car shows, etc... I am very lucky to have found such a wonderful man to spend my life with.

RICH

This is my daughter Dawn. She is 24 years old. She got married in March 2005 to a man named Jay. Dawn also gave me a beautiful granddaughter who was born in February 2002, her name is Rowan Grace Karen Demyon, and she is just beautiful. Dawn enjoys collecting Cabbage Patch Kids, the weather (gee, I wonder where she got that), cats (she has 2), hanging out on the internet, and sewing.

DAWN

This is my son Jordan. He is 13 years old and going into the eighth grade. We think he is very smart. He taught himself to read when he was 2 1/2 years old. He was reading at 5th grade level when he entered kindergarten. He wants to be a doctor when he grows up so that he can find a cure for my illnesses, isn't that sweet. He likes tigers, wolves, Yu Gi Oh, classic cars, bowling, fishing, animals of all kinds, playing outside, Nintendo and hanging out with his dad.

JORDAN

Sad Note: Rosco was put to rest because of complications from a suspected brain tumor on July 19, 2005.
This is Rosco. We adopted him from the Humane Society in March of 1999. He has been the best dog I ever had, and believe me, I've had a lot of dogs. Rosco is afraid of men, especially tall men with hats, but he will play ball with anyone, even them. His full name is Rosco P. Coltrane. Jordan named him because he loves the Dukes of Hazzard. Rosco is a very gentle dog and loves other animals too. He can do some tricks that I have taught him, like sit, shake, beg, and lay on his back when I say bang and point my finger at him. He doesn't like to do that last one though hahaha. He will only do it if you have a really good treat for him. Rosco was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 3 years old, but he's still the greatest dog I've ever had.
