It took me a while to realize it, but family is the most important thing in my life. Too many times I've let other things and people come before my family. Hopefully I'll never let that happen again. I wouldn't be who I am if it wasn't for them.
Mom and dad have been married for 22 years and are still going strong. I couldn't have asked for better parents! They've taught me all that I need to know. Someday years down the road when I have children of my own, I hope that I can raise them the same way that my parents raised me.
My little sister and brother are great, too. Sometimes they drive me crazy, but that's to be expected from siblings! Kim is 16 and a sophomore in high school. Although she is 4 years younger than me, she has outgrown me by several inches... not fair! She and I are a lot alike and have a great time together. Bobby is 15 and in 9th grade. He and I have our ups and downs. We get along well at times, but we can be way too hard on each other! It's kind of a struggle, but I love him just the same. He is an amazing young man and has proven himself to everone over and over. He has accomplished so much more than some ever believed that he could!
