Here's the innards of the
car. I was happy to see that the dash was in very good shape. You
can't see in this picture, but the crinkle paint on the left on the
drivers side is in not very good shape(if you have any tips on where
to get that fixed, or how to do it myself, e-mail me)
I was also very happy to see
that there was only one teeny spot of through rust anywhere on the
entire car-which is on the passengers side floor. We've ordered
POR-15, and have taken all of the interior out of the car to prep so
I can coat the floor with the POR. That should hold it for the next
hundred years...
Future things for the
interior include: Seats from a 4 door 63 Monza, in black leather, as
well as the original rear seat in black leather(probably all obtained
from Clark's). Also from Clarks will come black strait
line loop carpet. Should round out to be a very classy
interior.
As far as gauges inside go,
I'm going to keep all of the original gauges, cause I think they are
VAIRY cool (wow, can't believe I'm leaving that in there). Same with
the radio, though I will be mounting a new stereo of some type
probably in the rear- in the opening in the back.
