On a reassuringly hot day in September, Chevening won their
last Saturday match of the season thanks to 71* from Mike
Clifton who played for Chevening once again. They had earlier
restricted Kemsing to 131-8, Johnny Martin taking four wickets
for just 22 runs from 9 overs. Mark Burkitt chipped in with
a more than useful 26 to help guide Chevening to victory.
