Match Report:

In Paul Kent's first ever match as skipper of the club, Chevening
won by a considerable margin of more than 100 runs. He was out for 13
on the 13th of July and in the end Chevening's innings finished 13
short of an elusive 200. Mark Challis top-scored with 64 and was
well backed up by Mr.Extras, who scored a flawless 36, particular
credit going to Mr.Byes, who scored 21. The highlight of the match
was a hat-trick from Jarrod Stapeley, who bowled a QUADRUPLE-wicket
maiden in his first over. Another maiden meant he finished with
unbelievable figures of 2 overs, 2 maidens, 4 wickets for 0 runs.
Jason Draper bowled 6 overs for 6 runs, taking 2 wickets, and David
and Mike Franklin both took two wickets apiece.
