Consistent batting, especially from Mark Challis, who fell one short of a half century, set Chevening up with a very respectable score of 159-7. However, Chiddingstone fought well with one of their openers scoring 56 and would have surely won had it not been for the end of the match which was looming. They eventually came 8 runs short thanks to four wickets from Simon Kidd and Chevening at the time of writing remain unbeaten so far this season.
