The Beaumont - The Chevelle's Fraternal Twin from the Great White North!!!

The Beaumont -The Chevelles Fraternal Twin from Canada!!!                                                                  					We could not do a Chevelle Identification site with out mentioning the Chevelle's twin sister from the North.  Just when you thought you had these Chevelles all figured out we are going to further muddy the waters.  You may know your Chevelles but do you know your Bo's?  Now as you know if you have checked out this site thuroughly, some all Canadian Chevelles do exist, these cars were completly assembled in Canada and were exported all over the word!  The Beaumont is a Pontiac!!!   It was however, built on a Chevrolet frame and had a Chevy drive train.  The Beaumont was first styled after the Chevy II Nova. With the introduction of the 1st 1964 Chevelle they made a change from the Nova H-Body to the new A-Body platform.  Can you blame them! Beaumonts were only produced for 8 years 1962-1969.  Here are a few examples. Note the similarities to the Chevelle. Also parts were borrowed from the Pontiac LeMans, Tempest, and the GTO (Goat).

If you are wondering why this section on Beaumonts is listed under the Advanced Section, well tell the truth, if this 69 pontiac drove by you at 20 MPH How many of you enthusiast would have sworn it to be a 69 Chevelle? It is amazing how many Chevelle enthusiast don't even know about the Beaumonts.
