| Rick Rudolf from New York sent us this photo of his '55 Racemad that he restored it has a 287 C.I. small block and weighs in at 3850 lbs. The car was the Division 1 G Modified Production Champion from'68 thru '72 it also was the Inaugeral Grandnational Champion and has set numerous N.H.R.A. and A.H.R.A national records with a best E.T. to Rick's knowledge of 11.28 |

HEAVY WALL PUSH RODS. PISTONS ARE FORGED 13.50:1 THE 727 MANUAL SHIFT, REVERSE PATTERN TRANSMISSION AND NINE-INCH "J" 4500 STALL CONVERTOR ARE TURBO-ACTION UNITS THAT HAVE BEEN REWORKED BY FRANK LUPO OF DYNAMICS TRANS. IN NEWARK, DELAWARE. SHIFTER IS ALSO BY TURBO-ACTION. IGNITION IS MOPAR PERFORMANCE ELECTRONIC WITH A "GOLD" BOX. THE 8.75 REAR HAS 4.56 RICHMOND GEARS AND SPOOL WITH MARK WILLIAMS AXLES, MOUNTED ON MOPAR PERF. SUPER STOCK SPRINGS WITH A PINION SNUBBER. A FULL ROLL CAGE AND FRAME CONECTORS STIFFENS UP THE UNIBODY FOR CONSISTENT LAUNCHES. THE CAR ALSO HAS AN ADJUSTABLE TWO-STEP REV LIMITER, SW GAGES AND AUTOMETER TACH WITH SHIFT LIGHT. THE CAR RUNS CONSISTENT VERY LOW 10'S AT OVER 126 AND HAS POTENTIAL TO GO EVEN QUICKER. BEST ET THIS YEAR WAS A 10.72 @ 126+MPH. THERE ARE LESS THAN 50 PASSES ON THE ENGINE, TRANS AND CONVERTOR SINCE THEY WERE FRESHENED UP. |

| The gasser is owned by Jack and his son John. It is a faithful restoration of the original car, which was the 1967 Nationals C/G class winner and ET and MPH record holder in 67 & 68. Presently powered by a 502 crate motor with a T-400 trans and 57-64 Olds rear. | Buddy Hunter From St. Charles MO. sent me couple of pics of his car, a 1968 Woody Gilmore 165" VRA legal Jr. Fueler. Engine is a 400 Chrysler with Indy 440-1C heads and Indy 8-Stack injection. Buddy races the nostalgia races in the midwest. This car has won or runner-upped in Nostalgia Eliminator at the HHRR, Indy Goodguys and the Slingshot Nationals since 1998. |
