What is Qigong?

'Qi' means energy. In Yoga, it is called 'Prana'. 'Gong' means work. Therefore, Qigong means the exercise of your internal energy. It is a 5,000-year-old Chinese healthcare modality that has both endured the test of time and is making a tremendous resurgence at the threshold of the 21st Century. The benefits of Qigong are increasingly recognized for enhancing fitness in mind and body, developing vitality for sports and sex, and helping in the cure of stress as well as degenerative and chronic diseases.  Literally millions practice Qigong in China and around the world each day to successfully treat diseases ranging from hypertension to cancer.

Is Tai Chi a form of Qigong?

Actually Tai Chi is a martial art. However, the majority of the Tai Chi practitioners just treat it as a dance. Without a solid Qigong foundation, it is just a slow and gentle exercise. At best, you just feel more relax and flexible by practicing it that way. Proper breathing techniques and the use of Qi are the keys to maximize the benefits of Tai Chi.

What is so unique about this Complete Qigong for Health Program?

Traditionally, a Qigong practitioner would only learn one style of Qigong in his/her life. Since he/she would be considered a traitor if he/she decides to learn another style. My master, Master Jian Hua Wu, and other researchers from the Shanghai Qigong Institute, have spent over 40 years researching all the different styles of Qigong in China. Thanks to their effort, I was able to create a Complete Qigong for Health Program which combines the best parts of each type of Qigong. Not only does my program contain the popular Buddhist and Taoist Qigong but it also contains some Tai Chi, Yoga and Tibetan Qigong. One significant advantage of 'extracting the best' is that many people feel an improvement to their health just after a few sessions while it may take many years of practice to gain some health benefits from other Qigong programs.

What benefits does a personalized Qigong program have?

From my experience, it is very difficult to learn Qigong in a large group because every student has a different learning style. For students who have a lot of patience, it would be best for them to start with meditation while others may be better off to start with a dynamic Qigong. Moreover, not all types of Qigong are suited for everybody. For instance, the Buddhist Yi Jing Qigong may not be as beneficial to seniors while the Xi Sui Qigong is not beneficial for women. Therefore, you need a qualified Qigong Master to design a Qigong program according to your body conditions and personal needs.

What is Sexual Qigong?

By popular demand, I started teaching Sexual Qigong recently. The main purpose of this Qigong is to utilize our sexual energies to achieve optimal health. In doing so, many practitioners experience significant improvement in their sexual abilities as well as the intensity of their orgasms.

My friends are interested, can we come as a group?

Yes, I encourage students to come as a couple. It will be more fun and encouraging to practice with a partner. However, the biggest group size that I recommend is 5 people.

Sessions will be held at my house, which is located in Toronto, Canada (Hwy 7 & McCowan Rd). However, to facilitate those students who do not have access to transportation, I have assigned certain hours of my time to travel to those students' places.

Why do I need a herbal drink and how much does it cost?

In Taoist Qigong, almost all practitioners depend on some kind of herbs to increase their Qi. They have found that there are many herbs that can improve their health and facilitate their Qigong practice significantly. I have personally tried and researched many natural herbal drink. The one that I recommend is the most effective and economical. Moreover, it is manufactured in Canada and only costs about a dollar a day.
