My (Deidre) horse Rosta is getting older so I wanted to get a weanling that I could train up before Rosta died. I decided I wanted to go back the Thoroughbred route. My first horse was a registered off the track grey Thoroughbred gelding who died from old age (in great shape though). So my quest started. I wanted to get a weanling grey filly that I could train up to do dressage, hunter/jumping and 3-day eventing and was registered and was breed for trainablity. Belle is just that and more! I e-mailed Jan who is in Texas to ask about Belle and several e-mails, pictures and phone calls later I bought her. Now to get her from Texas to Tennessee! I contacted Cox Equine Transport and liked what others had said that had used him for long distance hauling. So the date was set in the 19 October. Belle had her own pasture all set up and ready to go. Boy was the wait they morning she came extiting! Then we saw the horse transport.
Belle has been doing great showing and acted like she lived her forever. She is showing a lot of promise and loves to jump and jump and race around her field.
She is shedding out to a lighter grey this April and is looking great.
