This is Miss MyLeeka She is a rescue/adoption. Her story is a sad one. She was reported to the Doddrige County Sheriff as a starving horse. After investigating, Mary suspected she had a fractured shoulder and, discovered she had been riden in that condition! She was also about 300 pounds underweight. Leeka was left at a neighboring farm when she started falling down under saddle. This picture shows her about six months into her rehab. A remarkable recovery and the vet is amazed!. Today, she is at about 99% in her recovery and is expected to recover fully! We hope to start riding her again this spring as she's running on all fours! The local kids love grooming her and she is teaching them about love and care so, she still has a great job to do! We want to thank SWAP for allowing us to stall her at CrossedSabers for her first 10 weeks of recovery.
Meet Lovey Gurrrr!

Lovey is a 7 year old Standardbred mare who had a short racing career. Adopted by Mark and Mary, she is the perfect family horse. Lovey can pull a wagon and is doing well under saddle. Tall at 16.2, she has that fabulous  Standardbred personality.
Meet Dean, our farm hand and, his best friend, I'm A Wop 2.
Wop is a 1977 Appaloosa brood mare. She's been a mommy all of her life and her new job is teaching the kids about horse care. She can still be riden for short periods of time on the flat and is teaching Dean how to balance in the saddle.
