| This show was done a day or so after I graduated high school. Normally, that would be an incredibly happy time, but for me, it was a horribly sad and miserable time, basically, because of a girl that I had been in love with that year. For whatever reason, I decided not to keep in touch with her, and I regretted it afterwards. Obviously, I've long since gotten over it, but it really killed me at the time, and most of the music on this show reflects that. This is, in my opinion, the best and most emotionally powerful show I have ever done, although I can't relate to it now as much as I could then. This entire show is dedicated to the class of Hamden High 2001, and a certain girl who will remain nameless. Yeah, you can call this my emo-est show, or whatever Artist: "Title": Album: Label: info/etc. 2 PM (station ID) Red House Painters: "Katy Song": Red House Painters (rollercoaster): 4AD: the saddest song I've ever heard (mic break) Slint: "Good Morning Captain": Spiderland: Touch & Go Weezer: "The World Has Turned And Left Me Here": Weezer (blue album): Geffen Deftones: "Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away) (short radio edit)": promo single: some major label Pixies: "Monkey Gone To Heaven": Doolittle: 4AD: by request (i couldnt find "Where Is My Mind") (mic break) Squarepusher: "My Red Hot Car (Girl)": My Red Hot Car EP: Warp Travis: "Sing": Invisible Band: Epic Of Montreal: "One Of A Very Few Of A Kind": Bedside Drama: A Petite Tragedy: Kindercore Plaid: "Squance": Double Figure: Warp Mint Royale with Posdnous: "Show Me": On The Ropes: MCA Plaid: "Zala": Double Figure: Warp Air with Beck: "The Vagabond": 10,000 Hz Legend: Astralwerks 3 PM (mic break) Travis: "Cage": Invisible Band: Epic Weezer: "Jamie": DGC Rarities: Geffen Jimmy Eat World: "Crush": Clarity: Capitol Lush: "Untogether": Spooky: 4AD Mint Royale: "Don't Falter": On The Ropes: MCA Tortoise: "Six Pack": Standards: Thrill Jockey Weezer: "Don't Let Go": Weezer (green album): Geffen (mic break/shout out to Jah-Son and plug for selekta.com) Verve: "The Sun The Sea": A Storm In Heaven: Vernon Yard Spiritualized: "Take Good Care Of It": Fucked Up Inside: Dedicated My Bloody Valentine: "Slow": promo-only 12" EP: Creation Gorillaz: "Slow Country": Gorillaz: Virgin Of Montreal: "Please Tell Me So": Bedside Drama: A Petite Tragedy: Kindercore Breeders with J Mascis: "Do You Love Me Now?
