I hope you all had a nice Easter! All of the "sneaker" babies have gone to their new homes! They were the sweetest litter of babies. I will definitely miss those little ratties. Some older rats have also been placed. Sally and Vixen went to a great home together, and Fiddler went to live in his new home with a sneaker baby, Chuck Taylor. Milo is also up for adoption. He is a dominant male, so he will HAVE to be placed in a home with an experienced rat owner. He should not be placed with older males, or small baby boys. If you are interested in adopting him, please let me know. He will make a great rat for the right home.
I also have some sad news. I have thought alot about this, and I've decided I'm not going to be breeding any more rats at this point. Maisey's litter will be the last here at CHRR. Sometimes life just gets too busy, and I feel that I can't put the time and energy into the rattery. I don't want to do it half way, so I feel it's best to take a break at this point.
Maisey's litter has quite a few reservations, so I am closing it for further reservations. Hopefully she'll have a good sized litter so everyone can adopt what they signed up for. :-) Her due date is April 2nd. Hope everyone has a great week!

Well, no babies quite yet. Maisey is HUGE. She's as big as a house. She was super busy this morning making a nest, so I'm crossing my fingers for babies when I get home from work! I will let you know as soon as they're born!!

Yay! We have babies! Maisey had 12 babies on the 4th. She had 7 females and 5 males. They babies are all doing great! She's being a wonderful mom so far....very attentive! I will try to post pics in the next day or so!

I finally posted baby pictures. I figured I'd wait until they were more than just pink, squirmy things. :-) Plus, my computer at home has now decided it doesn't want to load Page Builder, so I have to do this from work. One of the female babies passed away on day 3. I think she kinda got smothered at the bottom of the pile. :-( All the rest of the babies are completely adorable!!! I love their spots. Oh, and I have a cage for sale. It's nice and big, a great cage. Let me know if you're interested!

I was finally able to post new pictures on the web! The babies are now weaned and have one more week until they're able to go to their forever homes! I will be in touch with those who reserved babies so you can pick a baby (or babies) and so we can figure out when to meet up.
