From Interstate 81, take Exit 57B, Interstate 181, north to Kingsport. Go 4.2 miles and take the Wilcox Dr. Exit. (Exit 51). Stay straight on Wilcox Dr. for about 2.9 miles. The first traffic light is John B. Dennis. Next light is Meadowview Parkway.(See the Conference Center and golf course on your left.) You'll pass over the Holston River bridge and see Eastman on your right. The third light is at Industry Drive. The Red Cross is on your right, and the Eastman Employee Center is on your left. The fourth light is at Lincoln St. The Eastman Credit Union is on your right, and the Eastman Business Center is on your left. Go under the railroad trestle to the fifth light. (Beware the light is just on the other side of the trestle!) Turn right off Wilcox onto Sullivan St. here. Immediately turn left onto Sullivan Court, a little 2 lane street that runs uphill on your left. Go about 3 blocks. You'll pass Peach St. and Ross St. The next street is Lamont St. Turn left onto Lamont. You'll see the parking lot. We're at Shelter No. 1, the first shelter on your right.
Paris says,"Remember dogs must be on leash at all times. Bring an x-pen and lawn chairs if you can. Bring your camera and some money for our CorgiAid projects. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the park. If your dog poops, please scoop."
Chessy shows off the plush squeakies that will be prizes for our contests.
Drop a donation for CorgiAid in the jar and get an official picnic patriotic bandana so the corgis can dress alike for their group picture.
Donations for our silent auction for CorgiAid are already arriving.  Watch for new items soon!
