Max |
Max, on the left, is Chessy's almost identical brother. Chessy is a tiny bit
bigger and has a little more white on him. Max is shyer than Chester.
Here they are at Sue Peterson's house right before they headed for their new
homes. |

Max and Chester are different on one little de-tail. Max has a full tail that
curls over his back, and Chessy is a bobtail. They were not docked at
birth. |

Max was fostered in Kentucky by Sharon Gaines. |
Max learned how to be a regular corgi by playing with Sharon's corgis Charlie and
Sally. |
At Christmas Max went to live with Sharon's parents in Louisiana. Here is Max
with his new sister Dixie. |
Chessy still misses Max. Whenever he sees a small black dog at the park, he
checks to see if it's his brother. When he sees his reflection in the window
of the back door, he runs out the doggy door to see if Max is in our backyard.
Then he sees his reflection in the door and thinks Max is inside and
runs in through the doggy door to find Max. Chessy hopes to have a reunion
with Max and his sister and mother someday. |
