ChessChat is a discussion group that formed in Oct 1998. With just a handful of chess enthusiasts, the group rapidly grew becoming a very popular and busy chess discussion forum.
After 10 years, ChessChat is still around but is a much tamer version of its former self. Many of the original core Chatters have moved on or moved more into the background.
If you are interested in talking about anything chess, ChessChat is for you. I am hoping to revive new interest in the discussion group and to do that, new enthusiasts are needed. If this is you, ChessChat is for you. We have over 500 members but like most groups, most members are "just looking." That is ok too but if you like to be in the thick of discussions, ChessChat will be a good outlet for you. I hope you'll give us a try.
When you join, you will will

read, reply, or just delete. Currently there are about
