GENERAL INFORMATION

When you join USABDA as a member, the National USABDA office will send you a membership card similar to the one above, and then notify the local chapter. The National organization is quite large, and therefore the news of your membership does not reach us as quickly as we would like.

When you are ready to join the Tulsa Area USABDA, please give the application with your membership fee to any officer at the dances, or mail to:

Tulsa Area USABDA, PO Box 472123, Tulsa, OK 74147-2123

This membership card entitles you to attend the dances at a membership rate of $6.50. We would like all of our "dancing friends" to become members, but in any case, we hope to continue to see your happy faces and dancing feet at all of our functions. (You are most welcome to introduce a friend to the world of dance.)

Membership applications are available at any dance, from the officers, or in the newsletter. Membership fee to the national organization is only $20 per year. The local chapter does not charge a membership.

For your information, all of the fee goes to support the national programs, therefore the local chapters are subsidized ONLY by dance admittance, contributions and fundraisers. None of our officers and committees is compensated; they are strictly volunteer. We do need and greatly appreciate your help.
