Date - 5/09/04 Time - 8:26p.m. Description - The old Chess Master Nayph section has been a bit quiet lately, and thats because the internet in my room has been down for a very long time. My stupid new dog Patch chewed through the phone line under the house, so my phone got disconnected. A lot of things have been going down recently. Uni is getting really hectic. I have mid terms all over the place, assignments that need to be started, group presentations to organise, and a whole lot of things for the fundraising team to get happening. I reckon that even if I did have the net available, I wouldnt have been able to update much anyway because I would have had no time! Despite this busy schedule, I have been able to get into the skating regularly, meeting up with Warren every Monday or so to skate in the city, and also meeting up with the guys in the skate club at uni on the odd Friday. I have just finished revamping all the skating animations on the site, so there are heaps more up, and I have spread them out over many user names so that it is virtually impossible for my website's data transfer limit to overload now which is good - Check it out ... One of the highlights of the past month or so was probably hanging out with the EFS guys at the Ranch and then heading to Bondi beach to chill with some ice-cream. Unfortunately DC could not control himself again, and he gave us a repeated act of inebriacy - The photos tell the story better than I ever could ...

Date - 5/09/04 Time - 11:40p.m. Description - Well I was chillin in my room having a break from the study, talking to hmac on the net, when out of no where, it starts hailing! I was really worried that my crappy little timber roof was gonna start having holes pounded through it. Luckily it held out. Eventually the house blacked out, so I took to opportunity to whip out the camera and get some shots of the mega lightning show that was being put on. Once it was all over, there was pretty much a blanket of ice over the backyard. Very kool indeed I say ...
Date - 17/09/04 Time - 7:40p.m. Description - Woohoo its holiday time! Well kinda anyway ... I have two weeks to do a big econ and law assignment, and also there is Da Boyz and Da Babes, and all the other socialising that I'm sure will happen. In the end I don't think I will get much time to rest. Today was an interesting way to end the day. It began with lunch and Christianity Explained with Steve-O, which was lovely as always. Then there was a video called "Cop-It-Sweet" in law. This was the stupidest video ever. I was kicking myself for even going. Once all that kerfuffle was over, it was time to head in to the Conception Day festivities. The idea was to get a whole bunch of Student Life people to create a presence there by wearing our kool t-shirts, but I was a bit disappointed with the low turn out. The highlight was definitely Bodyjar's gig. The last time I saw them was two years ago at Warped Tour, and they were great there, so I had some big expectations. They played a perfect line-up of songs. All their main singles, and even some of my favourite unknowns from "How It Works". The mosh was pretty good too. It had a nice level of tameness so I wasnt ripped to shreds (I'm getting flashbacks of one Frenzal Rhomb mosh which was hectic). Also Steve-O came in and it was his first mosh pit experience ever! What a trooper! He went pretty hard! I spent a lot of time trying to work out where he was to make sure he wasnt being trampled on, because if he had gotten hurt I would have felt terrible ...

Date - 22/09/04 Time - 10:00p.m. Description - Well I've just had an interesting past couple of days. Saturday was techinically the first day of my "holidays" which are hardly holidays because I have so much work to do. Went and saw the Village which is a crappy, crappy movie - Fortunately my company was of a much higher standard lol. Then I phaffed around until Monday, when the Boyz and Da Babes began. All in all it was an interesting and innovative experience. I must say the conference lived up to its name beautifully. Lots of fun was to be had amidst the lack of sleep. There was movies, bushwalking, soccer, canoeing and general mischief during the free time periods. Can't ask for more than that.
Date - 24/09/04 Time - 11:45a.m. Description - Had Steve-O's 21st celebration last night. I had to spend all day doing stupid Econ201 assignment readings when I could have been playing soccer at Hyde Park. It was a struggle to say no to that. I headed into the city a bit earlier so that I could get Steve-O his present. I bought him the Best Of Bodyjar CD, so that he can always be reminded of his most memorable first mosh pit experience. He's a funny lil chap. He's so pumped to get into more concerts. I finally have a concert buddy again after all my old ones bailed on me. Everyone always bails on me. I wonder why that is. Steve-O's party was quite all right, despite the fact that there was about 12 people there, and I was the only non-asian lol. We had dinner at this awesome Japanese restuarant near Circular Quay called Masuya. I tried lots of new things (which is a big step for me). I had eel, yakitori chicken, wagu and some hot sake to wash it down. I gotta say Japanese beer tastes NOTHING like aussie beer. It tastes more like metho lol. After the dinner we were meant to go to Karaoke, but we were too slow and our booking got taken. Thus we headed to the LAN beneath George st movies, and Steve introduced me to Counter Strike. It was an interesting game, but I would have to say Time Crisis is much better lol. I dont think im much of a LAN person. It just seems weird to be sitting at a computer for so long playing one game ...
