Description - Had a fantastic day today hanging out with James. He came over and we went to the PCYC and shot some hoops at the basketball court. He whipped me good. I only got a few three pointers in Larry Bird style and that was about it. I had a few attempts of a boardslide to fakie on the fat rail there, but gave up after I had a bit of a stack.

It was a bit too hot to keep playing basketball, so we headed on down to Coogee, got some Maccas for lunch, played pool for an hour or so, and then hit the beach. The water was beautiful! Coogee is a great beach for bodysurfing because the waves are teeny tiny and you can just stand there waiting for the good ones to line up. I had a great time. This was like the second time Ive been to the beach all year.

Oh and on a totally unrealted matter, Seinfeld is back on!!! WOOHOO!!!

November 2004 - Finals and then ... FREEDOM!!!

Description - Exams start in two days, so I find myself taking the day off to try and frantically catch up on all my subjects. Over the past three years, I have always been freaked out when finals arrive, and somehow I have always managed to scrape through with all the marks that I need, but this time I'm not so confident. I've been a bit of a bludger this semester. Too many distractions! It's nearly half way through the day and I havent done anything yet. Instead, I have been procrastinating with chess. However, I did manage to have the first winning streak that I've had in a long time. I even beat someone with a 1514 rating, which isnt too shabby considering my recent efforts. I think my brain is now ready to study ...

Description - I have my acst305 exam tomorrow. I spent today doing past papers, and they didnt do much at all to help my confidence. In fact they really freaked me out. I need a credit for this subject, but if tomorrow turns out to be anything like these past papers, I wont even pass. Oh well ya live ya learn. It seems like every exam period, I get in these situations, and somehow I still manage to scrape through. We'll see what happens. I think if I didnt waste so much time playing chess and watching stupid tv shows like neighbours, hours and hours of the Simpsons, and the OC, not to mention Alias, then maybe I would have more time to learn my stuff better. Oh well ya live ya learn ...

Description - WOOHOO!!!! Exams are finished!!!
WOOHOO!!! In the end they werent too bad. Law and
Econ went okay, but Acst was mega crap. I'm going to
need some mega scaling to have a chance of getting my
credit for that subject. But life goes on! I just gotta put it
behind me and get on with the holidays!!!

Uni holidays are the best! I have three whole months of
relaxation! Although at the moment I'm hard at work trying
to get my support raising going for the Summer Project
I'm going on. But I know God provides for those kinds of
things with no problems. My church is really generous,
and theyre going to do a collection for me next week.

Also I have made it a goal to catch up with all the people that I have been neglecting over this semester. I wrote out a list of the people I want to hang with, and it is LONG! I've already booked in some days with people, but I have a lot more organising to do to get everyone in. However, I wasted no time catching up with Katie. After I finished my exams, she came over and we got some dinner down at the Novotel and then walked around the beach and other various spots that Brighton has to offer. We found this mad abandoned boat down at the Kyeema boat ramp. I still dont know how it got there. But the council obviously wanna get rid of it hehe ...

Description - Had a very kool past couple of days. I stayed over at Hannies on Monday and it was kool just hanging out and watchin some tv and catching up with her family. On tuesday we went bowling. It had been ages since I had had a good bowl. The session inspired me to finally get my Nayphs Bowl-A-Rama section up on the site, so keep your eyes out for that ...

When I got home, I headed to the netball courts for a skate with Todd. He absolutely killed his rail, and we got some awesome footage, so keep your eyes out for that too!!!

Description - Been a busy little bumblebee over the past few days. Yesterday I had my final athletic nayph run, and then I headed over to Viv's birthday party which was a jolly good time. Afterwards, Katie and I went to watch James play basketball. That was an interesting spectacle. James' team were close, but they just lost it at the end. They really need me to put in some three pointers at strategic times. I reckon James' team could really use me as a coach hehe ...

Today I hung out with my main man Gabbo and his new lady Ashley. We headed over to Cronulla to skate, and then we chomped on some food and had a swim. All in all a nice day. Gabbo never fails to prevail and the good times ratings ...

Description - Man I just dont understand it. I had four hours sleep last night, I went skating today, I've had no rest, and I just cant seem to be able to get to sleep! It doesnt make any sense!!! I figured the best thing for me to do is to get up, go online, and play some chess. If anything can put me to sleep, it is that. Fortunately, DC is online, so Im havin a few lazy games with him.

James came as a retro basketballer, which if you ask me is pure genius! He seemed a bit disappointed after the awards were handed out though hehe ...

Description - WHOA how hot does it want to be today! It's like 39 degrees out there! Which means it's about 50 degrees in my shack, which has no air con, no fan, and basically acts as a bloody sauna! I'm sweatin like a pig in here!!!

Last night I had a jolly good time at the Student Life Retro Party. I have to admit the pants that Katie made me wear were a bit restrictive at first, but by the end of the night I was used to them. I even whipped out a few of my killer dance moves hehe. Katie and I won the most retro couple award for our costumes. There was some fierce competition for that award hehe. I have to say, I am extremely disappointed that James did not win anything for his fantastic effort. Thus, I am officially awarding him with the "Best Dressed Loser" award. Jamesy baby, you deserve it ... 8)
