| Date - 7/5/2004 Time - 9:00p.m. Description - I was on my computer playing some yahoo chess as usual, and Hannah was over checkin out my moves as one often finds themself doing. Well she decided that she knew a better move to play than me, so I took that as my opportunity to challenge her to a game of chess to put her back in her place. Four moves later we find out who really should have been giving the chess advice - Notice that it is Hannah who is the one hiding her head beneath the blanket in shame ... Oh how I love to prey on the weak and innocent. After Hannah's humbling defeat, we decided to go out on a search for some Time Crisis machines. We went to the Time Crisis 2 at the bowling alley - Oh that memorable bowling alley machine where I had my first victory - but once we realised that it charged two dollar continues, we figured we'd try the Miranda movies games. To our discontent, everything was shut, so we had to call it a night. It's a hard life being a chess master wannabe who loves shooting games. |
| Date - 4/5/2004 Time - 5:33p.m. Description - My computer finally works!!! YAY!!! Harsojo hooked me up with a new motherboard! Thanks bro! Don't know what I'd do without ya. Well since my computer has been broken, I havent been playing too much online chess, however, I have managed to get my highest rating ever, moving up towards the mid 1500's - Woohoo! Also I finally dyed my hair yellow. I was meant to do it ages ago but never got around to it, so the dye was sitting around in my room for over a month before Hannah came over and actually did it for me ... It looks very yellow. |

| Date - 15/5/2004 Time - 12:42p.m. Description - I've had a pretty regular day today. Spent all of my time switching between uni work and online chess. I have basically lost my winning streak, so my rating has gone back down to the mid 1400's. Had a good chat to H. Mac on MSN in the arvo, then basically it was just me and the nerdy online chess world. I met this guy named Faisal, and I discovered that he goes to UWS - Small world. He was a bit of a beginner, so my last three wins were from him, but he says he had fun playing me and he learned a lot. A nice end to the night. |

| Date - 31/5/2004 Time - 5:53p.m. Description - I've literally been at home all day doing law readings and they've been pretty tiring. Usually I would be on the net playing some Yahoo chess as a break, but my stupid sisters have disconnected me again. Alas, I have Chessmaster9000 as a very solid back up in these situations. Up until today I hadn't managed to beat it, no matter how low I put the opponents rating. Today, all that was to change. I finally had my first Chessmaster9000 win! It was against Dave who had quite a good rating, so I'm quite happy with myself. It's funny how a chess game can determine whether or not you've had a good day lol. The Simpsons and Neighbours are nearly on, so I must depart ... |

| Date - 27/5/2004 Time - 7:11p.m. Description - I had my Econ110 mid term today. It kinda went okay. I think I was a bit complacent at the beginning. I was taking my sweet time because the test was only one question to do in 40 minutes, but it ended up being a very long question, so I didn't actually finish the test!!! From my recollection, this is the first time that I haven't finished a test properly since my year 7 maths test where I got 54% ... Its been such a long time! ANYWAYZ! That was my last big assessment for the semester, so I find myself playing quite a bit of chess at Yahoo as a bit of a reward. My buddy from uni, James, came in to the room and started playing, and I managed a classic 6 move win! It was a work of art! I never want to forget this moment lol ... Sorry James dude. Look H. Mac! I'm incorporating Student Life people into my website!!! Are you proud of me? |
