Description - Okay, so I've been playing quite a bit of Chessmaster9000, and I've just been versing the Chessmaster (Which is the hardest opponent) because I figured that if I played him heaps then I'd get better and be able to win more at Yahoo. Sometimes that theory works, but lately it's been failing dismally. My rating at Yahoo has decreased by over 100 in less than a week! It's getting kinda redundant just losing all the time to this Chessmaster guy in like 2 minutes, so I figured I would gradually work my way down the opponents until I could manage a win, and then from there I would work my way back up, win by win, with the aim of eventually being able to beat the Chessmaster. In the end I worked my way down to Griffin (That dangerously handsome fella that you see on the right), who had a rating of 1239, which is pretty bad. It looks like I've got a LONG way to go before I work my way up to the Chessmaster.

Description -
Hooray! My second victory on the road to chessmaster9000 mastery. This time my opponent was a lil tom boy named Mariah. For having such a low rating, it took me a humbling number of times to manage a win against her. I think it got to 17 losses before I could manage a win. I got close a lot of times, but just kept making STUPID mistakes. This last time I kicked her butt though, which is unusual. It's like I can't beat her no matter what I do for ages, but when I finally do beat her, I do it really easily. Now I must get back to my law take home exam which I got today. It is about some dude who killed this guy for sleeping with his daughter, and then bashed his wife in the process, which ended up killing their unborn child (which he didn't know about). It's exciting stuff. It's times like these that I wish I still religiously watched law and order. They are the best at picking up all those niggling little issues that come up in what seem to be straight forward cases.

Description - Here I am trying to find more delays to avoid studying for my last exam ... ACST300. Law ended up going okay thanks to some constant correspondence with Katie over MSN, and despite a severe lack of study, ECON110 didnt go so badly either. Now I have four days left to study for ACST300, which isnt too much of a disaster. However, at the rate things are going, I dunno if I'll do too well. Yesterday I experienced the ultimate in procrastination - James and I fled Sydney to retreat to Hmacs church up in woop woop (I think they refer to it as Tuggerah up there). The train trip took a LONG time, but it was made pleasantly entertaining by my new portable DVD player. All in all it was a good day. Hmac has a cosy little setup goin on up north. Dis girls got kudos and all a dat. Just now I managed to beat the stunningly attractive Alicia, bringing me one step closer to chessmaster9000 mastery. It took me a while to beat her, but in the end I had a pretty easy win this game because I managed to get her queen very early ...

Description - Whoa! I can't believe I just did that! I figured I would play a quick game before I got back to the law, just to see what the next opponent was like, and I beat him first go! Far out I must be on some kind of roll! This dude was easy as pie! Now I REALLY gotta get back to this law exam ...
A gunrack! Yeah! Right! I don't even own A GUN! Let alone many guns that would necessitate a whole rack! What am I gonna do with a gun rack! ... Are you mental? Get the net!

Description - Once again Nayph is procrastinating with chessmaster9000. Another game, another win. This time my victim was Will. I think today I'm on a winning streak, and I also have a feeling that the chessmaster hierarchy is not necessarily done in order of skill. While the ratings are in ascending order, it seems as though they are also simply going through different styles of play, which is why I am able to find some people with very low ratings really hard, and some people with higher ratings really easy.

Description - Well I have given more evidence to support my theory, as I just whooped Aaron first go with no troubles. I was actually able to beat Aaron earlier when I was just playing random people before I decided to try working my way up the ranks, so I have a feeling Aarons style of play is not very strong against mine.

Description - I am just ripping through these chessmaster rankings! Josh Waitzkin, age 7, was no match for Chess Master Nayph. Only 102 more victims until I have reached THE chess master.
