Registration fees for The Koltanowski Memorial Conference on Chess and Education 2001 are $60.00 in advance (in US Dollars) if received by November 15, and $90.00 if received after November 15 or purchased at the door.

THE KOLTANOWSKI MEMORIAL CONFERENCE ON CHESS AND EDUCATION to be held in Dallas, Texas on December 13-17, 2001.

The Conference is seeking papers in two broad categories, theoretical and research papers, and practical papers.

Research papers may pertain to some of the following areas:

• Chess and Cognitive Development
• Chess and Self-Esteem
• Chess as a Pedagogical T 001
• Chess and Academic Performance
• Chess and Flow/Peak Experiences

Practical papers may pertain to some of the following areas:

• Using Chess to Teach Other Academic Subjects
• Teaching Chess in the Classroom
• Introducing Chess to Beginning Players
• Chess-in-the-Schools Programs
• Funding Sources for Chess and Education

PAPERS IN BOTH CATEGORIES ARE WELCOME
