The Chesapeake Bay Art Association is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring our 45th Annual Outdoor Art Show in Ocean View Beach Park, on October 13 & 14, 2007, from 10 AM until 5 PM both days.
This is the same fine art show which has been held in the park for the last 14 years on the 3rd weekend in August. The only difference is that now we are COOL!
Each artist will be set up along the paved walkway, making them easily accessible to folks with strollers, walkers, or wheelchairs. The park features a gently rolling lawn for picnicking, a lovely view of the Chesapeake Bay, and a beach for strolling. That alone would make a trip to the park a pleasure in the less steamy weather of October.
It is the artists, though, who make the park even more special. With approximately 100 artists expected, visitors can meet a wide variety of artists working in a wide variety of media. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with each artist and enjoy all of the work, while still getting home in time to let the dog out.
