Noah's Surgery Adventure
Noah has been walking on his tip toes since he was 1 year old.  We finally decided to take him to a specialist and they decided to preform an achilles lengthening surgery.  They put him under a local anesthetic that knocked him out and they then cut small slits into his tendons and stitched them up so they would heal this way.  He was then put in below the knee casts on both legs.  Recovery from the surgery was difficult at first for our little guy.  He was very medicated and cranky.  It broke our hearts.  Thankfully his Mamoo and Grandma Debbie were there to help Jon and I calm him down.  Within 3 days he was walking like a champ and 5 weeks later he was faster and braver than we have ever seen him.  The casts are now off and he is walking on flat feet.  His toes point out and he is walking very awkwardly, but it will take some time for him to gain his strenght and balance again.  We are very very proud of our "crazy legs" and he has been a champ all along.
Noah leaving the hospital. The medication is finally wearing off!!
Just relaxing and enjoying Mommies undivided attention. Noah in Las Vegas for his birthday, 3 weeks after surgery.
Noah and his Cousin Conner share a ride just 3 days before Noah's casts come off.
