Welcome to what I believe is the 1st Web Site dedicated to the great female rocker Cheryl Dilcher. Although Cheryl never received her due because her songs never charted, she had a pile of great songs from 1973 thru 1977. I do know that Rock stations in the St Louis area did give her ample time on the radio. Unfortunately, her records went out of print due to lack of sales. To this day her material is still not available on CD and her records are all "collectibles" going from $5 - $25 dollars each. Her albums "Butterfly" & "Magic" were released on A & M & "Blue Sailor" was released on Butterfly records. I hope someday she receives her due and some record company releases her great material on CD. If anyone has any info on Cheryl or knows what she is doing today please e-mail me. I had heard that she was from Pennsylvania & is now living in California. On her album "Blue Sailor" the Executive Producer was A.J. Cervantes who was a local big shot in St Louis. Maybe she has a connection to St Louis in some way.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy my site dedicated the the great but underrated Cheryl Dilcher.
Cheryl was a very talented musician who played the 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars & also of course handled all the lead vocals.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
I spoke with Cheryl on the phone on May 13th. She is an incredibly sweet & kind lady.
She has been living in the Los Angeles area since 1973 & is still playing music. She has
three (3) new songs on mp3.com that are available for purchase if anyone is
interested. She was very thrilled & excited when I told her about all the fans that have
e-mailed me who love her music. For someone who deserved a better fate in the music
industry, Cheryl remains a very positive & upbeat person. It was a pleasure & an honor
