| In early March 2007 we went to Willow, AK to see the acutal start of the world famous Iditarod Dog Sled race. The race specs: 1,100 miles long (Willow to Nome, AK), 83 teams, 16 dogs/team, 25 checkpoints. The winner was Lance Mackey (#13). It took him 9 days, 5 hrs, 8 min, and 41 secs. The final musher was Ellen Halverson (#41) and it took her 16 days, 11 hrs, 56 min, and 20 secs. It is quite the amazing race!! |

| Above. We went to a snow sculpture contest in downtown Anchorage. These were amazing! Left. We are actually ice skating on a local lake. The city plows the snow off of the lake so people can skate. They also have burn barrels around the lake to get warm. So, we just kept Logan in his stroller and we pushed/skated him around. |
