| Name: Vanity Race: Goddess Title: Goddess of Vanity Mother: Discord Father: Adonis (God of Vanity) Siblings: Jynx, and Strife. Marital Status: Single Description: Vanity bears a striking resemblance to her mother, but is slightly taller and considered prettier by far in comparison. Personality: As is her name and title, Vanity is very vain and is absolutely obsessed w/her appearance. She believes that she is the most beautiful of the goddesses and that those who believe otherwise are crazy. She is a stuck up, prissy, snob, and generally doesn't like things that involve getting her hands too dirty. Acts calm and cool, but can be easily irritated and has the same nasty temper as that of her mother and brothers. Background: Vanity was concieved when Discord tricked Adonis into sleeping w/her by disguising herself as Aphrodite and seducing. During her childhood all the other gods and goddesses admired Vanity b/c she truly was a beautiful child, but being Adonis' daughter it instantly went to her head. As she grew older everyone began to ignore her and so she began to amuse herself by seducing mortal men and letting them admire her and flatter and entertain her w/gifts and attention. However she quickly got jealous of Aphrodite, who was considered the most beautiful of the goddesses by mortal men. She also began to grow incredibly jealous of any women who her brothers admired more than she, and eventually even women who were more adored by mortal men than she. To this day she can't stand any women who are admired than she, especially Aphrodite, or any mortal women. She has had several encounters w/Deianeira, Karone, and Astronema, as well as his other priestesses or women whom he has lusted after. Abilities: Has the typical god powers, telepathy, telekinesis, electric bolts, etc. Also has a way of charming men. Weapons: None Likes: Mainly herself, and those who admire her, lavish her w/attention, compliments and gifts. Is generally partial to her siblings and mother, and any cute man she likes, and especially those that she can seduce. Dislikes: Aphrodite, her # 1 arch rival. Anyone who thinks Aphrodite, or anyone else is more beautiful than she is. Deianeira, and Jynx's other priestesses, or any girls that he lusts after b/c she doesn't believe that any of are good for him. Any girl, or woman that mortal men adore and generally consider to be more beautiful than she is. |
