Spells and charms go hand and hand with the Craft. Spells can be performed by one as well as by several...the most important ingredient in any spell is emotion.You must WANT something to happen. You must want it with all your being, and through that desire you will cast all your power into the magik. This is the reason to perform the magik yourself rather than have someone else to do it for you. Spells and charms are not necessarily tied in with the religious side of the Craft. To work a spell within the Circle, immediately following an Esbat rite would, almost certainly, be extraordinarily effective. Yet you can cast a simple Circle and work your spell at any other time and get results. Remember to harm none and when casting spells be careful what you want for you just might get it!!The Basics
