Flame of Recca
Flame of Recca is about a teenage boy name Recca who yearns to be a "ninja".
Then he finds out he really is one...
400 years ago, his mother, Kagerou, bore a son named Recca.
However, his father, Ohka, was a flame caster, and had another wife,
who had bore him another son 4 years earlier, named Kurei.
Now, only one flame caster is to be born per generation.
A conference was held and a conclusion was made to allow
Kurei to live, instead of the original death sentence.
Kurei's hatred for Recca built up from that, and he tried to kill
young Recca, however only succeeding in scarring Recca's left cheek.
War was later declared by another team against Hokage.
To save Recca from the turmoil of war,
Kagerou sent him 400 years ahead of time. Incidentally, Kurei had
escaped from his prison cell and followed Recca in the time tunnel.
Because Kagerou had sent someone through time, the consequence she
had to face was the curse of never being able to die.
Now, 400 years later, Kurei has found Recca, and yearns to kill him.
Kagerou has finally found her long lost son...
