| This site is dedicated in the loving memory of my beloved Pappa Mr.Thomas Philip (Achenkunju) Cherukara Plamoottil Aluva Kerala, who left for Heaven's Abode on 23rd May 2004. He had indepth knowledge in this family history and had deep affection towards the family members. He had worked as the Head of Personnel Dept. in Hindustan Insecticides Ltd, Kochi till 1988. He had served as Chairman of National Institute of Personnel Management Kerala, Governing Council Member Kerala State Productivity Council, Kerala Management Association, Secretary, School For The Blind Aluva, President Christava Mahilalayam Schools. He was also deeply involved in all the activities of St Thomas Marthoma Church Of Aluva. |

| Mathen Mappillai the founder father born in 1637AD, migrated at the age of 50 in the year 1687 along with his wife Kandamma and only son CheriaMathen to Ayroor from Kuravilagad a place situated on M.C.Road 40kms from Kottayam. Mathen Mappillai belonged to Pakalomattom Panaghuzha family of Kuravilangad. |
| St.Thomas , one of the apostles of� Jesus Christ came to Kerala in A.D.52 and as a result of his missionary work many high caste Hindu families embraced Chirstianity.Prominent among them were Brahmin families like Pakalomattom, Sankarapuri, Kalikavu, Kali. In the ancient Christian churches in Kerala, Bishops, Archdeacons, Priests were consecrated from Pakalomattom family. A branch of Pakalomattom� family migrated from Kodungalloor to Kuravilangad. |
