| Today's Thought I think that thankfulness is the key, coupled with realizing that God is Sovereign, in every circumstance, He is in control. | Have you ever walked into a dark room wondering, what was there? Feeling a bit afraid of what was hidden in the darkness? Taking that first tentative step into the room Imagine.... How God felt when he created the earth And all was dark and without form Without the benefit of God's light We can see nothing but darkness Conjuring up negativity Strike a match and light a small candle The picture changes The room glows with the light of God's love This little bit of light gives us the confidence To enter the once dark room The glow of light and scent of the candle Makes the dark room welcoming God must have felt this way when He shed light upon the earth God gave the earth light and light gives life When all looks dark in your mind Light a small candle of hope The glow will become prayer And the prayer will become knowledge That God is alive and the light will continue To shine "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
