| Although I live in Wales now, I was actually born in England, on the 17th December 1979. My hometown is Trowbridge in Wiltshire. It was a lovely little town. I loved it there mainly because I wasn't shy then. I was the leader of the pack when I was young. Always getting into mischief with my little gang of 6 year olds! My family all moved to Wales because it was my mum's home. She was born in Swansea. It was my dad who was from Trowbridge. Anyway, my mum had been told that her spine was crumbling and she needed her mothers support. So there I was, a wee girl of 9 years old being uprooted and taken to a strange place, away from her friends. It was a very confusing time for me and although I managed to make a few friends there, as time went on, I began to withdraw into myself and I became painfully shy. Thats me, a very shy person. I have a few hobbies that include Birds, reading, Music, TV, cooking and going out. I have done a lot of travelling in my short time. Ive been to lots of places all over the world with my family, including Spain, Italy, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Florida (a very painful time). It was in Florida in 1997, that my dad died. He died on the second day we were there. It was a stroke that killed him. He was 60 at the time. Im doing a memorial page on him If you want to read more. Life was pretty rough for all of us after. I ended up failing my A levels. I became carer for my mum, living on �66 a week. We all managed to get through it, somehow. |
| It was after our disasterous holiday that I met my fiance, Peter. I met him while my mum was in one of her many hospital visits. She was having her gallbladder taken out. Peter was in hospital because of his health problems.At the time of meeting him, I was going through a very confusing patch in my life that Id rather not mention. Peter managed to pull me out of it by being there for me the whole time. I was pretty horrible to him at first, but he perservered, even though he was going through a bad patch himself, with bad health. Finally I saw sense and we have now been together for 3 years and we're still going strong. He has a hobby too, ferrets. It is a hobby he's been wanting to take up for a while, but never got round to it until now. At the moment, both me and Peter are living with my mother and brother. I am my mothers carer I have been for 2 years now. It can be a long and tedious job but I keep it up because I love my mother as well as my birds! |
