October Week 2

8th October

Up early and could not get the boys out of bed, however, feeling much improved - still look a little strange round the chops and now only look like a person with numerous double chins (and not a resident of the planet baloonface) - still, very concerned that these wont go away.
Tommy as usual in a sprightly mood and keen to get stuck into the electrics. Today we will  tackle  the electrics for plumbing in the generator - reasonably straight forward but ended up spending the day in the tiny lockers fitting tie wraps and dropping
spanners on each others heads.

Boys had another day off -  tomorrow I will make
them do the polishing - that should sort them out !

Tommy is working brilliantly and I am continuing
to scare the local contractors with my mumps.

9th October

MDM  out with OYT to Arragon. Scot wants to sail Atlantic. Unsure as to suitability.

10th October
Oversaw the yard - putting the boat back into the water and finished off the anti-fouling under the cradle patches, then picked up an ideal berth next to the yard so as to keep pressure on. Neil to get stuck into the stainless work .Had a row with the local electrics supplier over the VHF upshot being the set would arrive tomorrow at the latest. Spoke to mum whose definitely calling more often - must be checking up on me and informs me Malcolm will be popping by in the afternoon so I instruct
her to give him a pair of my trainers so I can endeavour to keep fit and also more
importantly stink out his luggage!

Played tennis this evening as the sun went down against Erwan and really enjoyed it - health definitely improving. One set all -  not bad for an invalid.

11th October

A quiet one

12th October
VHF arrived and fitted up in the morning. Checked out of the apartment and back to living on the boat. Health perfect thankfully no double chin and no chipmunk cheeks...HURRAH. Right ladies where are you...
Polishing all finished off - the boat is in perfect condition for Bod coming home. Erwan left us today to go and meet his girlfriend for a couple of weeks    r & r and some well earned loving! Poor boy has been like a coiled spring all day.

Malcolm in Belfast airport all day - the flight was delayed by 6 hours. A whopping £5 compensation for his troubles.

13th October

Malcolm eventually returned at 0100 from UK .

14th October

Am off the sauce and my double chin has disappeared. Face back to the way it used to look including ginger ferrite on the chin.
Steel work finished on generator tower. Took a tour round island - almost ran out of petrol, turned into garage whilst running the engine on vapour.

Te Beag for dinner great craick.
