This is the picture of Mikai and Miho inserted in the locket frame and they're around 11-12 and 9-10, respectively. Taken not too long before Mikai runs away from home. This is when Miho still used to have long hair and she wore it in two braids that her 'nii-chan braided for her in the mornings when she was younger. ^^. Mikai is supposed to look older than his age. Actually, I think I drew this fanart like two years ago... summer of 2001, I think.... and I colored it last winter. But i was just waiting for the story to advance. Truthfully, Mikai's hair came out more brown than it was supposed to in this pic cuz of the shading. You can just imagine it to be a shade between Miho's and his current one.
